PONY EXPRESS SERIES 2
THIS EVENT REQUIRES A LOT OF ORGANISATION AND ASSISTANCE ON THE TWO DAYS, JUNIOR AND SENIOR. IF YOU, OR YOUR PARTNER OR YOUR FRIENDS WOULD LIKE TO ASSIST PLEASE EMAIL WITH YOUR DETAILS. WE WILL NEED A COUPLE OF MARSHALLS IN THE PIT AREAS, AND A DOZEN MARSHALLS ON BIKES ON THE TRACK WOULD BE IDEAL. I'M SURE THE TIMING CREW COULD ALSO USE SOME ASSISTANCE.
ANY OFFERS TO canvasconverters@iprimus.com.au
thnks

Well where do I start, there was plenty of action over the two days, 90cc numbers were down which made for some high speed racing in the Blaster class, as well as 22 laps by Hayden Iuliano in the 90cc Iron kid class which equates to approximately 150 + k's on stock Kawasaki 90cc quad, amazing stuff in his first ever race.
Sunday Morning rolled around pretty quickly, I got down the track about 6.30am, there was only one family camping and my first reaction was oh no were is everyone, but as the sun came up the riders started to appear, and next thing you know we had 82 riders on the start gate.
The morning half was action packed, broken arm, broken and bent bikes & black buoys appearing out of know where in the dusty conditions, as Chad McKay put in the Fastest lap time of the series(13.40). The lunch break came around quickly for some as others retired and called it a day, as the sandy track whooped out, other teams battle on and and the end of the day there were some really surprised faces as we called out the results at the trophy presentation. Well done to all who finished & competed.

All the results will be up as soon as Sheena adds it all up for me, thx Sheena
So I will finish with this, 355-360 competitors over the three rounds is an amazing result, we should all be proud of the way the club has moved ahead this year, without you guys (the riders) it would not have happened, so thank you for supporting the club.
Thanks To all the people who supported the 2008 Pony Express Series:
