;D Hello all , just a funny one for us all to look into. The worst injuries i have done to my self is i have taken off on my bike and had a heap of dust spun up in front of me so i could not see were i was going. I rode straight into a big hole and the bike came to a dead stop and i kept moving their for my legs hit the handle bars and i had the perfect bruise of the handle bars were it meets up with the cross bar bruised into my legs . i did not get up for 1/2 an hour . lucky i didn't beak my bones . What else has happened out there and how did you do it.??

This happened on the weekend down the beach. Thought I would do a big whip as I turned around and didn't lean in enough and rolled the bike. Managed to leap clear as I wasn't going fast and the bike ended up the wrong way. Lucky it was sand aswell, nothing damaged.

Heres another one for you ;D. During September i went out for a ride at a track and i was going around a corner and got my bike sideways. That part was OK but i was moving fairly quick and the back wheel dropped into a pot hole and i got flipped off my bike like a rag doll.I landed on my back and looked up and saw my bike up in the air coming straight at me. ( keeping in mind a 700 raptor weighs about 200kg) I pooped myself as the bike landed along side me upside down. Then i got up and went to go put my bike back on its wheels and my hand hurt to put pressure on it.That was the last ride for the day to .I went to the doc`s and got x rays and nothing was broke and i went back ten days later and said it still hurts so more x rays and ultra sounds. Still nothing seamed to be damaged so i got a referral to a specialist !. Well i have torn the mussels off my bone from my thumb. So in 1 1/2 weeks i go to have a operation and have two screws put in my bone and mussels reattached. So no more riding for 3 months . not happy . But also when i had cleaned my helmet i found a big chunk taken out of the side of it so i was very lucky i had that on when i fell off.

The missus was showing off with me chasing behind her and she didn't see the wire fence in front of her, rode full tilt into it. It was like something out of a cartoon, the fence stretched and stretched and then the quad stopped and she kept going..... She didn't let go of the handlebars so just did this amazing flip and landed on her back in front of the bike looking up at the sky (her on one side of the fence, the quad on the other).
Brushed herself off, and apart from a few bruises (especially to her ego) she was fine!
Would have loved to have that one on video :-)
I've been lucky so far, apart from doing an unintentional handstand on the handlebars after mistiming some woops (my mate following ran off the track cos he was p'ing himself laughing at it) brown trouser moment, sore bits on re-entry, but no permanent injuries :-)

haha my wife just told me of one my son and i done.Funny how sometimes you can block these moments out. We just bought our son a new bike and we had it out the back showing him how it worked. Well the engine was running and in gear he was on the front and I'm on the back and well lets say HE KNOWS HOW TO ACCELERATE !! he just riped it on full bore and we smashed into the fence in a vertical position. My son was laughing his head off i was not for he and the bike fell on top of me:( ..but to make things worse my lovely wife(i only said that in case she reads this ) was laughing her head off WHY??? she caught it all on video!! and no I'm not going to put it on the forum before any one asks - but for some reason i can see it popping out at my 40th b day.. thats a long time away to!!!!

broke left wrist and had to have it pinned in 3 places 9 weeks ago at mates quarry near woodridge.we decided it would be cool to build our own jump ramp to have some fun when the dunes are chopped out and the jumps arent happening.anyhoo we did a good job building it and took it out at wedge dunes a couple of times with no dramas but at the quarry we made a dirt down ramp and i missed it went way too long and landed hard.almost ready to tackle it again

I was riding with a few friends when we found a nice little track to race around. It had a nice big sweeping bend an a good little hairpin bend. As the racing got faster I got on the power to early in the hairpin and spun the bike all the way round hit a small berm on the inside of the track and rolled twice. Lying on the ground in agony (with mates laughing) I thought I had broken my arm but it was only dislocated lucky for me it popped back in when I stood up. I also separated the muscle from one of my ribs. Needless to say lots of pain for the next few weeks.

My neighbor was out riding his 2 wheeler deep in the pines late in the afternoon. He went to turn around and fell off, put the foot peg though his foot. He called for the ambulance.
But no one could fine him, they sent out the helicopter but by now his mob battery was flat.
His mate found him 3 Hr later. 4 Month of work.
The police are puzzled as to how he got his unlicensed bike out there?

I suspect he did only have sneakers on, but this is a 20 year old road bike and I don’t think it has spring loaded foot pegs? I will check it out next when I over for a beer

This is not a four wheeler story but a two wheeler story. Many many moons ago i was out riding with the bro, we were heading from Quinns rock north towards the Alkimos (when you could still see a well defined boat) weaving our way thru the tracks up and down hills so on and so forth. I had just come out of a nice high paced corner and was just about to power on up a hill when out of nowhere another rider obviously had the same ideas as me unfortunately he was already coming off the crest of the hill and heading straight towards me. He hit me headon still airborn, his knee in the head which dragged the healmet strap down my neck removing valuable and much wanted skin, and his boot hitting my left hand wrapping the clutch laver over my hand and pinning me to the bike. By this time im on the ground wondering what the heck had happened when his mate following the same line came over the crest and landed straight on top of me and with that, there goes the ribs. Broken hand, Cracked ribs skinless neck, all in a days fun ;D
