We have been fortunate enough to secure the use of a d6 dozer from west ram so we can make some much needed changes to the pony track for 2013 We have been kicking around some ideas and would welcome some feedback on an event we have been thinking about. The general format would be a 4 or 6 hour pony that would be run on a sat afternoon and continue again on Sunday morning, so essentially we would run either 2-3 hours on the sat afternoon until duskish, then we would run the side x sides through the evening until about 8.30-9 the bar and canteen would be open and the track will be open for a bit of camping with a bonfire some tunes, etc.etc no that the new showers are nearly completed that makes and event like this possible so people can be comfortable overnight. Any thoughts/feedback would be greatly apprciated. Cheers murph

sounds like an awesome idea. Would there be room to have a kids event at the same time if we run adults 2 hours both days?Maybe they could do just the southern pony? The concept has merrit for the overnight split sessions. Widening of the track for the side x sides and having them there would be a great draw card.

Sounds great, 2hours sat morning, 2 hours in the arvo and then 2 hours sunday morning? Would also need a shorter track for the kids so we could run at the same time?? Also jimmy may be right the track fills up fast..
