as far as iam aware the event is all booked with AJS i just cant remeber what the details were with the riding ages, i think we can have blasters there but dont quote me on it either way no one under 16 can ride a 450 or above as per MA rules the classes will be as MA rules but again just not sure what the youngest class we can have there definalty know we can have 90's or below. have been to some ones we had years ago and was a great day out also a good way for anyone thinking of racing a great feel as to how the clubs are run and what to expect on a day out. but if your not into racing still a great day to have some fun on a great technically challenging track

I did a come and try day out there not last year but year before on the banshee! oh yes! Really awesome track and some spectacular jumps. ya dont have to race it, can just ride it casually . Will be good fun to ride something different and also to ride the same track as one of this years Quad MX Nationals Rounds, an opportunity seldom found. Can we get a little more info on the format by any chance? Will it just be open riding or proper MX races like our superX events?

yeah but macca you get white line fever and just go way to big mate you should try just a casual ride one day you never know you might not nearly kill yourself lol either that or just try some double sided tape either one will probably work for ya.

I did that come try day to Troy, next time it will be try stay on the bike day MAcca, you made it a "come and try to drive home without being able to move day" for those that are curious, Macca tested his face suspension with a very up close look at the landing side of one of the tabletops. Wasnt a nice crash at all! In a heap of pain, wouldnt let anyone drive his truck home despite not being to move and the only talking in 4 letter words. Still is the only time i beat you round a track Chris haha Hope ya make it to this one for a better result.

whats gomoto

Post by TEEROY 34 on Aug 7, 2012 21:41:14 GMT 8
Gomoto are basically a come and try day for non members of a club to go try the track and check out the club thats holding it, in this case AJS.
i was under the impression when it was put to vote that it was a day for ATVWA members only not an "open to the public" gomoto? i mean you can go to one of these any year, this day was being held as a reward for our ATVWA people helping them do the nationals round, it was not a we will come to a gomoto? or did i miss something

Go moto is actually the type of permit that ajs have to use to allow non ma riders to ride at their track. At this stage Troy I believe it is open to members but it was discussed that we may advertise it for all quads, and offer it at different rate for non members similar to events at our track. This will be discussed once the committe meets on wenesday
