I do believe when they can and get spart time from work, families and the huge amount of time put into the club ,committee members try to get on. I got there @ 0630 and left at 1845 with some bikes still riding. The bar and kitchen was opened as they are at every event held. Should have come up jimmy was a good day

i thought it might be useful info for other members (as well as myself) hence posting here. and being as it was a day to try and retain/get new members i would have thought it would have been information the club wanted to get out there
if the club isnt using the forum anymore maybe the club members should be informed (and maybe remove the link from the atvwa website). also whats the link to the facebook group? i must be on the wrong one cause the one im a member of hasnt been posted in since the middle of the year

Seems pretty stupid to have the forum and not use it.
Used to be the main form of communication to the members before the devil.
Iam part of the facebook page and dont see a lot of info over there either.

agree 100% jimbob. its a good medium if people choose to use it.
Theres a lot of history of the club on this forum and its something that needs to be kept in my opinion. info on events and results, photos from a long time ago when there was very little there at all. Its the only written/documented history for the club.
I did notice today when i log in as the admin that i get this message. i don't know if this makes the forum a little more mobile phone friendly so someone needs to get in and take a look what the changes mean to end users, maybe this will be helpful.

if the club wants to keep the forum (and all it's history) it needs to come from the top. by generating more activity on here with posting info for events etc, more people will check it than the usual 5 or 6 that log in every 24hrs. with that theres more chance of a bit of life. if the committee decide to use facebook as there preferred choice than this forum will die as there wont be anything worth reading for those new to the club who just want to ride

I am seeing that the committee is getting the blame here. Yes i am on the committe have been for the last 6 months and prior to that just a member . I have only been able to log onto this form page the last 2 months . This is no ones fault but so that we could talk to each other a fb page was set up.I am not really sure that every committe member has a log in to the form either.i get on here are once a week and as normal i read things sometimes i post when its a positive form as i got no time for negitive. All events and happenings around the club Have been put up on the main page and in saying that if you are ever unsure or required more information please call someone on the committe.

hi guys there is a section on the forum for upcoming events and details this was used a great deal and it allowed members to ask questions about the advent , this worked very well but some times drifted in to other titles on the forum , it also would help stop the hundreds of phone call to the committee , so it would be a shame if the committee changed this format as I agree with Jimmy and mr murphy this forum should not die , the more you take away from it the more likely it will die Thanks Dave

Hi Guys, your all correct, it would be nice to be able to update the forum and facebook and the website and to send out email reminders and newsletters. But I'm sure i don't have to remind any of the people who have posted here that that requires an actual person to do, it doesn't just happen on its own. I'm usually responsible for this, but since we have not got enough committee members and I am now working full time and looking after my family it just isn't a practicality. If you have the time and are willing to volunteer to do it to your satisfaction then be my guest. The agm is in a few weeks so come along and volunteer for a position on the committee.

Hi Mel there was no criticism of any body it was meant as advice , as Troy posted most of the committee now use face book which now takes away from this forum , all updates would be better posted hear as this would help keep the use of this forum alive , hope that explains what my post was trying to achieve thanks Dave
