I have no idea , there was a suggestion it was not going to be run but i have not heard a definitive answer since the event was cancelled a month ago, a few rumours but nothing official. Damo, insert official response here, hehe

The pony was never cancelled, I do believe it was officially postponed to a later date. The very next pony is scheduled for 9 September and hopefully there will be a better turn out. Discussion from the meeting is that we guage by attendance of how many people attend this next pony to see when, where and if we hold our postponed event.
In the end it all comes down to whether members want attend events and/or help an overstretched committee.

i believe that you would be struggling to find a time after the pony on 9 September to hold another one where you are hoping for a large turnout unless it is moved to January. This is because after 9 September there is Australasian safari, gassy dash plus (i'm assuming) the end of the motocross season and then the Christmas holiday period. maybe you could see about holding an afternoon one with bar facilities and camping available Saturday night in January to avoid the heat of thew day?

i think the only way to fix these on going problems , is to shutdown atvwa ,because no comes and helps out at events, only the small group that always turns up to events and help out when thay can, all you get is dickheads complaining about events, but won;t come and help out ,iam pissed off with all the flowers that goes on ,

will have to see whether i can make it or not. have a coupla other things i need to do that weekend but would love to have another crack at the pony track and get a bit of fitness back. my lap times at hyden showed the lack of riding ive done this year so i need to change that by gassy
and croondog, juniors generally run on the same day depending on ages, capacity etc. im sure a committee member could confirm for you though

The quit pony express is a 4 hour enduro run on our 18km sandy enduro track. The event is run in pairs where each rider takes turns doing a lap of the track for 4 hours non stop. The winner is the team that completes the most laps in the 3 hours for their class. If you think your up for it you can go in the ironman class which is done individually instead of in pairs. Do any race banshees at the pony express how do they go for fuel. Can you fill up during the race or is it once you start you can't stop to fill up. Can two riders race one bike does it cost 50 per rider or 50 per bike. Can we carry a jerry can in a back pack in case we run out during our lap and fill up on the track. If any one can answer these questions that would be greatly appreciated.

Banshee will go alright, you can fuel up every lap if needed I think a lap is about 20 km. You can ride 1 bike and share it, and its 50 dollars a person I think.
